Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using meBlood ("the Service"), operated by meBlood ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.


1. Service Description

meBlood is an informational tool that analyses uploaded blood test results using artificial intelligence. The Service produces personalised reports based on the data you provide.

The Service does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All reports and analyses are strictly informational and are intended to help you better understand your blood test results. They must never be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Not a Medical Service

  • meBlood is not a healthcare provider, medical device, or diagnostic service.
  • Reports generated by the Service are produced by artificial intelligence and have not been reviewed by a licensed physician or medical professional.
  • You must always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any medical decisions based on your blood test results.
  • If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately. Do not rely on this Service for urgent medical matters.
  • We do not recommend or endorse any specific tests, physicians, products, procedures, opinions, or other information that may appear in our reports.

3. Accuracy and Limitations

  • While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated analyses may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations.
  • The quality of analysis depends on the quality and legibility of the uploaded document.
  • Reference ranges and interpretations may vary by laboratory, region, age, sex, and other factors. Our analyses use general reference ranges that may not match your specific laboratory's ranges.
  • We make no warranty or guarantee that the information provided is accurate, complete, current, or error-free.

4. Your Account

  • You access the Service using a magic code sent to your email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account.
  • You must provide accurate information when using the Service.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Uploaded Data and Privacy

  • You retain ownership of all blood test documents you upload.
  • Uploaded files are processed in temporary memory and deleted immediately after text extraction. We do not store your original uploaded files.
  • Extracted data and generated reports are stored in our database and associated with your account.
  • You may delete your reports at any time from your dashboard.
  • We do not sell your personal data or health information to third parties.

6. Credits and Payments

  • The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are purchased in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
  • Credits do not expire.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
  • Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will not affect credits already purchased.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload documents that do not belong to you without the owner's explicit consent.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service.
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the security of the Service.
  • Resell or redistribute reports generated by the Service without our written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and report templates, is owned by meBlood and protected by intellectual property laws.
  • Reports generated for you are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use.
  • You may share your reports with healthcare providers, family members, or other parties at your discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • We shall not be liable for any health decisions made based on information provided by the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless meBlood, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party providers including but not limited to:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • Amazon Web Services for email delivery
  • Anthropic for AI analysis

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time.
  • We may terminate or suspend your access at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits are non-refundable upon termination for cause.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which meBlood operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
